Teachers/Staff

Classroom staff consists of four teachers trained in ABA, and one speech therapist for five children (to maintain a consistent 1:1 teacher/student ratio).
Teachers possess at least a BA/BS degree with teachers having or pursuing advanced MA/MS degrees in special education or psychology. All teachers have or are working toward board certification in applied behavioral analysis. Teachers all have at least one year of supervised experience working with children in the autistic spectrum. Teachers will be supervised by the educational director and the associate educational director.
Speech and language therapists are certified, with training in oral motor, PROMPT, PECS and augmentative communication. Speech therapists will be members of the classroom team, present in the class throughout the day. Each child will receive speech therapy daily.
Occupational therapists are certified. They will see children for individual sessions and be present in the classroom throughout the day. Each child will receive occupational therapy daily.
